Petrojet do not want to let me go - Bekoe

Former Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe says his proposed return to the Porcupine Warriors is in doubt because Egyptian top flight side Petrojet does not want to release him.
He told Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM that even though he was unable to complete the season with Petrojet due to injury, he is seen as the ideal striker for them.
‘Even though I was not able to finish the season with them, they still see some qualities in me. So they are being very stubborn over my release.’
Bekoe also told Skyy Power FM that he is due to travel to Egypt on Thursday with his agent to sort out his release, adding that Petrojet had handed trials to a few strikers without finding a suitable replacement for him.
‘I have to go to Egypt on Thursday with my agent to sort things out and I hope we can get the release I need. They have trialed 10 strikers but they keep complaining that none of them matches up to me.’
Bekoe is working his way back to full fitness after suffering a long spell of injury.
