Baffour pays price for lateness

Striker Emmanuel Baffour has paid for reporting late for training by being dropped from the Black Stars team for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

The 24-year-old thus suffers a double agony after failing to secure a deal with Turkish side Antalyspor after undergoing medicals with the club last week.

The New Edubiase striker's exclusion from the final team has left many who craved for his inclusion into the Black Stars bitterly disappointed.

But the former Liberty Professionals player left coach Akwasi Appiah no choice after taking part in only one training session since arriving from Turkey in Wednesday.

Ghana hosts Lesotho on June 1 after which they travel to take on Africa champions Zambia a week after.
