Charles Taylor Debuts For Enugu Rangers

Experienced Ghanaian midfielder Charles Taylor is to make his Nigeria Premier League debut for Enugu Rangers away to champions Bayelsa United on Sunday.

Taylor, 28, is on loan from Ghanaian champions Hearts of Oak till the end of the season and will feature on Sunday as first-choice playmaker, John Nnam, is sidelined by a muscle problem.

Taylor was an integral member of the Hearts team that conquered Africa by winning the 2000 CAF Champions League.

He also helped the Accra giants clinch the Ghana league championship for three years running, in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

He has also featured for Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia as well as Hearts fierce rivals, Asante Kotoko.

Rangers are fourth on the table with 39 points from 25 matches.
