AC Milan chief: We've agreed Adiyah deal

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has announced the capture of Ghana U20 star Dominic Adiyah.

Galliani declared last night they had struck terms with Adiyah's club, Fredrikstad FK, for the young striker, who was named best player of the U20 World Championships.

"In the market we are moving and I can say with complete confidence that we've bought the young Ghanaian Dominic Adiyah. The agreement with the Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK is there," said Galliani.

"Now he must get permission to enter Italy and we will organise his registration at the beginning of January. He must of course pass a medical and then he will be our player.

"We've signed him because he is an attacker who can play in place of Pato and Ronaldinho."
