Middlesbrough invite Agyemang Badu for trial

English Premier League side Middlesbrough has invited Ghana international Emmanuel Agyeman Badu for a two week trial at Riverside. Badu popularly known as "Owen" among Berekum Arsenals fans is expected to leave the country by the end of this month for England.

He was invited by Swiss Champions FC Basle 1893 for a trial but due to an injury he sustained last month,he could'nt make the trip. The Berekum Arsenals midfielder caught the eyes of Middlesbrough officials after making his debut for the Black Stars in a friendly international against Australia in May.

The 21-year-old who is a regular with the national U-20 team has also been invited to play in the Black Stars friendly with Taifa Stars of Tanzania on the 20th of this month in Arusha. Badu is also a member of the local Black Stars squad.
