Brazil 3 Ghana 0: It's Over!

Ghana's World Cup campaign ended with a 3-0 defeat by Brazil, but the African nation will take great pride from their performance.
Ghana looked strong in midfield - even without the talismanic Michael Essien - and moved the ball around just as fluently as their South American counterparts.
Indeed, if you were colour blind you might have wondered which side was Brazil at times in the game.
It took just five minutes for Brazil to get on the front foot, however. An incisive pass to Ronaldo saw the striker in on goal and a step-over past the goalkeeper took his tally to a record-breaking 14 goals in World Cup finals.
But Ghana weren't beaten yet and demonostrated an attacking display the Brazilians would be proud of.
But Adriano scored for Brazil on the counter-attack in the 45th minute. Offside or not, it effectively put paid to Ghana's World Cup hopes.
Soem strong chances emerged for Ghana, but try as they might the dice just didn't roll for them and when Ze Roberto added a third for Brazil in the 83rd minute it was all but over.
Ghana exit their first World Cup campaign having impressed the world and will no doubt have won a place in the hearts of many neutrals.
Ghanaian heads will be held high on the plane home - and rightfully so. Bring on 2010.
