Michael Kyei Dwamena available for Asante Kotoko selection after long injury layoff

Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has received a significant injury boost with the return of midfielder Michael Kyei Dwamena.

The former Wa Suntaa man will now be available for selection when the Porcupine Warriors take on Legon Cities in their Ghana Premier League match week 29 fixture over the weekend.

During an away game against Karela United, Michael suffered an injury in the additional minutes of the second half, following a harsh tackle from Abdul Latif of Karela.

Subsequently, the talented midfielder was forced to miss eight games on the sidelines while recovering from his injury. However, after weeks of individual training sessions at Adako Jachie, Michael has finally rejoined full team training.

This return comes as excellent news for the team, as they aim to finish the season in the top half of the table. With only six games remaining, Michael's presence on the field will undoubtedly strengthen their chances.

As the team prepares for their upcoming match against Legon Cities, which will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, Kyei will be in contention for selection.
