The 2012/2013 Premier League has reached the half-century goal cap after just three rounds of matches.
The feat was attained over the weekend which recorded 16 goals from eight games. As at the third week during the 2011/2012 season, the league had witnessed 51 goals.
Till this stage, the league has seen 24 matches with Mahatma Otoo (Hearts of Oak), Abdul Aziz Yusif (Real Tamale United) and Yakubu Mohamed (Ashantigold) leading the scorers chart with three goals apiece.
Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that Latifu Salifu (Berekum Chelsea), Bright Luqman (Dwarfs), Kofi Nti Boakye (Asante Kotoko) and Nuru Sulley (Hearts of Oak) have each scored twice.
As many as 33 players have each scored one goal in the three-week old premiership.
