No Certification For Ordered Army Jets?
One of the airlines being ordeded for the Ghana airforce, MA60, doesn’t yet have UK or US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification and was decommissioned from service by China’s own Wuhan Airlines and China Eastern Airlines.
The Chinese company manufacturing it, Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Company, does not expect to obtain FAA certification due to the high cost involved. It has only received orders from Laos, Indonesia and African countries.
