Reverend Father Ernest Boadum, Parish Priest of the Nkoranza Saint Dominic Catholic Church, has urged Christians to emulate Jesus Christ for the maintenance of their faith in God.
Rev. Fr Boadum who gave the advice during a sermon during a service at Nkoranza stressed that Christians would be more blessed if they not only sympathized but empathized with the marginalized, like the poor, widows, widowers, and orphans, within their communities.
He expressed concern about the neglect of the sick and the needy in society, stressing that since everyone was susceptible to diseases, “we should visit such people to comfort and offer them the necessary support and encouragement in life.”
The Parish Priest pointed out that “the cross Jesus Christ carried through the streets of Jerusalem to Golgotha, the place of His Crucifixion, was a signal to His followers, that life was not without challenges.
He, therefore, charged Christians to wake up and be ready to fight for salvation.
Rev Fr Boadum cautioned Christians to be wary of false prophets to avoid being led astray, because some of them had established prayer camps with hidden agenda, to satisfy their personal needs.
