Accra Aca/Merries Games Draw Near

THE ACCRA Academy/Merries (ACASMA) Games, would tee off at the Accra Academy School Park, on Saturday, December 10, at 9am. Events earmarked for the maiden programme, which forms part of the activities in commemoration of Accra Academy?s 75th Anniversary, include lime and spoon, thread and needle, as well as sack races.

Other games expected to take place include, ludo, ampe, name the tune, tug-of-war and cooking competition, between the male and female counterparts. Meanwhile, Mrs. Amarteifio of Merries has congratulated the organisers of the event, and expressed the preparedness of her team, to shock the academicians. ?Nobody should underrate us, because Accra Academy would not overcome us. We are prepared to match them in every department of any event?, she declared. In a related development, Nii Maale-Adsei, the PRO of Accra Academy, has hinted, the organisers have set in place, a mechanism that would make the game a success.

?Being the maiden event, we have done everything possible to make this event linger on the minds of all participants,? he stressed.

According to him, there would be lots and lots of fun, as well as food for consumption, and activities to cheer about.
