RTU force Liberty to a draw

Accra, Nov 12, GNA 96 Visiting Real Tamale United (RTU) put up a spirited performance to force Liberty Professionals to a goalless draw at the Dansoman Karl Reindorf Park in a tenth week game of the Onetouch premiership.

It was a game, which provided equal opportunities for the two sides to grab the three maximum points at stake but they failed to make use of the chances that came their way.

For RTU, their penetration of the Liberty defence was most times suspect, though they enjoyed the services of tireless midfielder Gilbert Ayikade, who was adjudged player of the match. The Tamale lads however failed to get their setting up passes right, thus failing to hit shots or target despite their sleek midfield play.

Liberty on the other hand, had clear cut chances, which were either nullified by agile goalkeeper Najawu Issah or their attackers simply failed to find the net with Michael Osei, Michael Helegbe and Kofi Nti Boakye as the worse culprits, leaving the score line barren after 95 minutes of action.
