King Faisal defeat Olympics 4-2

Kumasi, March 2, GNA - King Faisal Babies on Sunday thrashed Accra Great Olympics 4-2 in a 12th week Onetouch Premier League match played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

King Faisal broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when Dad Addo headed home an Eric Agyei free-kick. Soon after the goal, the home side piled up pressure on the visitors and managed to increase the tally to two in the 34th minute through Thomas Avorgbedor before Enoch Andoh made it three for his side in the 36th minute.

In the second half, a rejuvenated Olympics side fought hard and managed to pull two goals back in the 51st and 53rd minutes through Eric Agyei and Paa Joe Kumah, respectively.

But just as they were settling down and probing for the equalizer, Nana Yaw Darlington sealed victory for Fiasal when he capitalized on a defensive blunder and blasted home a thunderbolt of a shot in the 82nd minute.

At the Anane Boateng Stadium at Abrankese in the Ashanti Region, Kessben F.C. beat Wa All Stars 2-1 in another Premier League encounter.
