Bofoakwa 1 RTU 0

Tano Bofoakwa beat visiting Real Tamale United (RTU) 1-0 in the Onetouch premiership match played at the Sunyani Coronation Park. Bofo got the goal in the 15th minute through left winger,Francis Darko, when he fired a diagonal shot through a very thick RTU defensive set up after receiving a pass from Abubakar Iddrisu just outside the 18."

Ggoalkeeper Najamu Issah had no answer to the shot. Bofo could have ended the day with many goals in their basket, after dominating most parts of the game, but they failed to utilize the numerous chances which crossed their way.

RTU's left winger Godain Abdulai was a tormentor-in-chief to the defenders of Bofoakwa as well as a toast of the fans. His good move with Alhassan Weah in the 30th minute failed to produce an equaliser due to the timely intervention of goalkeeper Shaibu Mohammed.

RTU bounced back strongly after recess to press for an equaliser but their efforts only found the ball hitting the goal post in the 78th minute. Most of the spectators were dissatisfied with some decisions taken by Class One Referee Elvis N. Adjei, especially those relating to foul play.
