Arsenal beat All Blacks 1-0

Agona Swedru, March 2, GNA - Berekum Arsenal capitalized on the poor performance of Swedru Gamba All Blacks and beat them 1-0 in a 12th week Onetouch Premier League match played at Swedru Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The only goal of the match was scored by Emmanuel Badu Agyeman in the 45th minute through a header.

All Blacks started the game on a fast note and dominated proceedings in the first ten minutes but lost grip and allowed the visitors to take total control of the game.

The second half saw All Blacks starting strongly as if they were going to hit back at Arsenal for the equalizer but it was a mirage. Douglas Mustapha of Gamba All Blacks came close but messed up the chance when he had only goalkeeper Shaiku Shaibu of Arsenal to beat as he fired over the top for a goal kick.

Another opportunity came for All Blacks' Ishmael Antwi in the 68th minute but his terrific shot unfortunately hit the woodwork. Osei Bonsu of All Blacks, who came in for Samuel Agyeman in the 70th minute also squandered a glorious chance to level up for his side in the 87th minute.

Arsenal players protested against the long run of the second half, which was close to an hour.

But in the end, fans of All Blacks booed their players for poor performance.
