The Theodosia Okoh hockey pitch will come alive when the senior league teams engage in a special eight-aside competition this morning in Accra.

The competition will present the participants the opportunity to put their houses in order ahead of the league, which is likely to begin in September.

The competition will feature teams like Oko Nikoi-Dzanie's NDK Financiers, Multistix, Citizens and Veterans.

In the first game of the day, Citizens will take on archrivals, Veterans, while Financiers face Multistix in a game likely to favour Multistix.

Financiers will come face to face with Veterans in the third game of the day, with Multistix playing Citizens in the fourth.

Citizens will pit their strength against Financiers, while Veterans face Multistix in the last game of the day.

At stake will be a special prize for the winners.
