MTN golf classic: preparations underway

Telecom giants MTN say preparations are underway for this year’s MTN classic Golf Competition which comes off at the Tema Country Golf Club on Saturday 18th August, 2012.

The MTN golf classic is one of the most anticipated events on the golf calendar in Ghana. The best of golfers in Ghana converge to battle for honours and bragging rights during the tournament.

The event is also expected to attract some foreign golfers. Meanwhile all members, players from sister clubs and the guests of the Captain are invited to participate.

Organizers of the event say all golfers should be aware of the following programme:

In accordance with Rule 6-3, players must be ready to play 5 minutes before their starting time. Penalty for breach of Rule 6-3 is disqualification. (At the discretion of the committee penalty of 2 strokes)
