How Kevin Prince Boateng swerved Kwasi Appiah in Milan

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng avoided seeing Black Stars head coach Kwasi Appiah when the latter visited him in Milan.

According to footy-ghana.com sources, Appiah has already made several calls to Boateng without response. So he called Boateng’s team-mate Sulley Muntari who advised him to attend AC Milan’s training.

Footy-ghana.com understands that Appiah did so, but after the training session, Boateng disappeared. Both Appiah and Muntari called him several times with no response.

The Black Stars head coach eventually left without seeing Boateng.

Footy-ghana.com understands that Boateng later called Muntari and asked him to apologise to Appiah on his behalf, adding that it was an emergency that moved him to leave immediately after training.

Footy-ghana.com investigations reveal that Appiah is very unlikely to call on the AC Milan midfielder again for national duty.

Boateng has been capped 10 times for Ghana and was an integral part of the Black Stars’ run to the quarterfinals in the 2010 World Cup.
