It's Asamoah Gyan's Fault -

If you blame Asamoah Gyan for missing the penalty kick, you either missed something or you need to learn the rules of football again. He is not to blame. The problem is with the Zambian goalie, Mweene who likes to cheat. It is also with the Lines man and with the referee and with Stevanovic who did not complain.

According to the rules of football, the goal keeper cannot leave the goal line before the ball is kicked. The Zambian goalie was way off the goal line before the ball was kicked. Asamoah Gyan didn’t have a chance at all. The Lines man was standing right there and he did nothing. The referee did nothing and none of our players nor our coach complained.

Since Mr. Mweene got away with it when he tried it on Ghana, he tried it again on Bamba of Ivory Coast. This time, the Lines man raised the flag on him and the penalty was taken over again and Mr. Bamba scored.

I will urge you all to watch the game again if you have access to a video and please be big enough to apologize to Mr. Gyan.
