Kumawu Murdered Victim's Mum cries out

.....for Justice for her Son.

"Pride goes before a fall" and "had I known is always at last". One Kwabena Anane of Kumawu Ankaase royal family, who was thought to have acted on the spur of the moment; shooting to death his step-daughter's lover, had actually acted animo felonico. Many Kumawu citizens are suspicious of Mr. Anane having had continuous carnal knowledge of his step-daughter. The Kumawu public are of the unanimous opinion that Mr. Anane is guilty of acting irresponsibly jealous even prior to any formal trial with a subsequent declaration of verdict. He could be seen by his hardliner's stance taken to be overwhelmingly possessive of his step-daughter. I am sure he has now realised the consequence of his folly, and duly regrets for ever thinking to enjoy the "bearded meat" of both his wife and his step-daughter with impunity. He has lost not only his liberty but also, his dignity as a royal. Did it never occur to him that it is a taboo by the Akan custom and tradition to sleep with both the mother and her daughter?

From the background check on, and investigations conducted into the behaviour of, Kwabena Anane, the following was revealed. He once organized for the extermination or extirpation of the late Mr. Asihene, the victim of his seeming momentary madness but actually a premeditated killing. He did hire a contract killer, one Kwabena Ebo, and tasked him to stab Asihene to death in a broad daylight. Asihene turned out to be, or emerged, the stronger in the ensuing battle to have him killed. Ebo could not then deliver that intended fatal stab wound but ended up slashing Asihene's face, neck and body many times. The incident was reported to the Kumawu Police. The police rather opted for, or decided on, arbitration than preferring a criminal charge against Ebo and his accomplices. The case ended up being settled at home behind close doors. It was treated lightly as a family issue, letting both Anane and Ebo off the hook. Had the police and the family known Anane was surely going to kill Mr. Asihene, the case may have been treated differently. As Ebo could not fulfil the terms of his contract to the letter and spirit, Kwabena Anane decided to do it himself at any offered slightest opportunity.

Kwabena Anane was born a Kwabena Koduah. He was named after one Kwabena Koduah also from the "supposed" Ankaase royal family. This grandfather of his killed Opanyin Kwabena Hene, the senior brother to the Late Barimah Otuo Acheampong and Opanyin Kwadwo Tuffuor in 1944 right in front of the Kumawu palace. In another incident, Kwabena Anane's uncle, one Kwame Fofie, also killed someone. He was banished to Sempa where he ended up becoming a very successful cocoa farmer. He lived in Sempa till he passed away. Kwabena Fofie was the senior brother to Madam Yaa Kobrinko, Kwabena Anane's biological mother. One can confidently conclude that there exists a chain of killings running through the family. Are they accursed?

Of late the step-daughter's mother had a serious argument with her husband after establishing he was having an affair with her daughter. He beat her up mercilessly and decided to throw her out of the conjugal home when she questioned him about it. She is said to have been saved from being throttled by biting hard on the finger of Kwabena Anane that had mistakenly found its way into her mouth.

Going back to the main story, when Kwabena Anane was briefly arraigned before a trial judge, he reaffirmed his innocence when questioned. He insists on being innocent because to the best of his knowledge and intentions, he had only killed a thief. He has been remanded for two weeks. What baffles me is the ongoing rumour that Kumawuhemaa intends to secure him a bail. She is said to have vowed to secure him one of the best lawyers in Ghana to defend him. It may sound unusual for a first-degree murder suspect to be granted a bail but it is possible. It is within Kwabena Anane's human rights to engage the services of a lawyer to defend, bail, and to get him discharged or acquitted of the cold-blooded murder he has committed. In much the same way, the State prosecutors can gather all the necessary evidence to press murder charge against Kwabena Anane to ensure he gets incarcerated for years if not for life.

From my investigations as indicated above, I wish to reiterate that Kwabena Anane is not the first person from that family to have murdered innocent persons. Two of his deceased grandfathers did kill quite innocent persons. One was banished from Kumawu. He ended up resettling in Sempa till he died. Some people have also expressed their past bitter encounters with Mr. Anane. He had threatened to kill them if they did not stay away from their girlfriends he, Anane, claimed or perceived to be his. He seemed to have got away with a lot of nonsense just because of his supposed royalty. His elders did get away with murder but times have changed so much so that their current descendants cannot escape justice if they did follow the despicable footsteps or actions of their forebears.

I neither gloat in the misfortunes of others nor do I sit unconcerned while others suffer injustice. I would not discuss Mr. Anane if it wasn't some stupid comment one Mr. Owura-Aboagye passed on the reported murder of Kwabena Anane's step-daughter's lover as read on Ghanaweb.com. He said and I quote, "This is a field day for John Fosu". This imposter going by the name Owura-Aboagye is discovered to be one Thomas Kani, the "Ahenenananomhene" from Kumawu but resident in the United Kingdom. This guy who is sauntering through the streets of Manchester, the UK, idling about like a puff-adder but with raised shoulders and bent arms has got on my nerves. It must be noted that this guy bears a wrong sub-chief's title. He paid to be crowned Ahenenananomhene". This title normally goes to a male member of a family whose grandfather had/has been a chief.

The current "Ahenananomhene" whose mother is from Kwamang is only affiliated to the Kumawu royal family by way of his father probably being once a butler at the Kumawu palace. Neither had his grandfather Opanyin Kani nor his father ever ascended to the Kumawu paramount stool. They are neither fake nor genuine royals. How then could this Thomas Kani be crowned "Ahenenananomhene" if it wasn't the bribe he paid to the late Barimah Asumadu Sakyi II for that useless crown title? He dreads his post will be declared non grata by any future paramount chief of Kumawu since he is not a true son or grandson of any of the past chiefs of Kumawu. He has himself been confiding in others that he is not presently on good terms with Kumawuhemaa. Is he not the very one that phones telling people Kumawuhemaa has threatened to ensure he becomes the first sub-chief to be sacked by whoever becomes the next paramount chief of Kumawuman? Does he think his stupid comments passed here and there can reconnect him favourably to Kumawuhemaa? He had better learn that "when the die is cast, there is no turning back". Kumawuhemaa has discarded him like a piece of used toilet paper as cheat as he is. Her decision on "Ahenananomhene" as he is himself aware of is resolute regardless of his last minute.com nonsensical attempts to woo her back. I have very unpalatable revelations to make about this crafty guy but do they worth my precious time? Is he not the one encouraging one Yaw Owusu and Co. to insult and threaten Aduanahene and others that are fighting to ensure the Kumawu paramount Koduah Stool returns to its rightful owners? He had better learn a lesson from the current predicament of his buddy, Kwabena Anane, to desist from his intended mischief. But he can pursue his ill-advised agenda if he chooses to remain such a knucklehead. He had better note there is an end to everything in the world. His vicious hypocritical attitude of being smiley on the face while being abusive behind the back is well observed by the circle he moves in.

I have solemnly promised with my hand in the air that I shall defend the interests of Kumawuman citizens to the hilt. I will closely monitor the Kumawu chieftaincy case. I will be watching Kwabena Anane's case with interest but may choose not to write about it. I may not sit unconcerned if Georgina and Asihene are seen to be denied justice. I know out of the glare of the cameras, media and public outcry, the Ankaase royals that think to be all powerful can engage in dubious activities to rob Asihene of justice. If that course of action is noticed to be pursued, then I shall bounce back like a hungry lion to bare my teeth and show my powerful no nonsense paws to the cheats. In the glare of the camera the Ankaase royals will behave themselves. One Rooney, the late Barimah Asumadu Sakyi II's nephew is rumoured to have said on the murder of Asihene, "He has killed him and so what?" This crude statement emanating from an ignorant yobbish royal is not worth a rebuttal from any sensible being. I am certain Mr. Anane is now remorseful of his nurtured insanity that has now made him a first-degree murderer who also doubles as the Kumawu public number one enemy.

As long as the world does not stop revolving, we shall overcome the hurdles. Whether the greedy queen with her family sinks or swims, all rests on the shoulders of the currently irate Kumawu youth. I am sure Mr. Anane's sister, Abena Pokuah, and his super rich brother-in-law, a said Owusu Soviet, both resident in the USA will not only assist financially towards liberating Mr. Anane but will also contribute towards ensuring Asihene gets a decent burial.

It will be recalled that Asihene was killed in the early hours of Tuesday, 26th April 2011, by a Mr. Kwabena Anane of the Kumawu Ankaase royal family. The body will be buried in Kumawu on Thursday, 5th May 2011. I pray this young man who was not given the chance to repent if he had sinned as alleged by Mr. Anane, may finally find peace with God Almighty.
