Ghana Must Condemn NATO's Action In Libya!

A month ago, I was reported that Ghana's government has recognized the NTC — Libya's interim anti Qaddafi government. Those of us who have been following the crisis in Libya keenly were taken aback this decision! Some of us were infuriated, to say the least. The question — which came to mind was; how well is our government informed on the Libyan crisis? Better yet, does our government know what's actually happening in Libya? Ever since the Libyan conflict started, we have been hearing all sorts of conflicting reports from the media. Some of them have it that the rebels are being killed by Qaddafi loyalists. Others have it that the rebels are the ones who are doing the killing. So, who is telling the truth? And, who is not? The western media — as you all know, lacks credibility when it comes to the truth. It knows how to manipulate the truth to suit its whims and caprices! So, I am very suspicious of it. I take its so-called facts with a pinch of salt! In fact, had it not been for the western media, NATO wouldn't have been able to enter Libya. It wouldn't have had a justifiable cause!



The western media reported that Muammar al-Qaddafi was about to kill his own people. Of course, a lie, but told so true. Also, the media said that he was a dictator without mentioning the Jamahiriya — a direct democracy whereby the people of Libya propose and pass the laws themselves. Therefore, having no need for political parties to make decisions for them. They made their own decisions through referendums! Dear reader, understand that the powers that be had plans to invade Libya. This is the truth! Qaddafi had to go, but for a different reason. Two years ago, Maummar al-Qaddafi met with several Africans leaders in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Certain issues were brought to light, and certain plans were made! During the meeting, Muammar al-Qaddafi told the African leaders present that instead of Africa going to the IMF to borrow with interest, Africa should have its own interest free monetary fund. This plan was accepted by all and sundry! It was agreed that the African monetary fund will have its headquarters in Yaoundé, Cameroon.



To kick start the project in question, Qaddafi took $450 billion out of his country's purse. Additional plans were made to set up an African central bank in Nigeria for a single African currency. Please, do bear the following in mind.The western powers aren’t prepared to loosen their firm grip on the African continent. The continent’s resources fuel the western economies! So, they got antsy, when the aforementioned plans became public. Qaddafi, the initiator — had to go! But, how? On March 19, 2003, the United states of America invaded Iraq — a sovereign nation. And, for what reason? They claimed that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction! They said that Saddam Hussein was planing to use the weapons to obliterate the United States. When the allegation backfired, the Zionist warmongers within the American government became desperate. They got the media involved to propagate a myth. They got the media to feed the ignorant masses with blatant lies! Saddam Hussein was demonized. The Zionist-controlled western media called Saddam Hussein all kinds of derogatory names. The late Iraqi leader was called the devil, a dictator, a Hitler incarnate and the enemy of freedom, amongst others.



The western media was used by the warmongers to incite hatred against Saddam Hussein! So, when they finally invaded Iraq, not a word was spoken in Saddam Hussein's defence. No sympathy was shown! Saddam Hussein was giving the ropes. His two sons — together with his grandchild — were murdered in cold blood. Did America and her evil coalition find any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? No, they didn't. It was lies told to steal! Iraq lays in ruin. Her oil, which was nationalized under Saddam Hussein, is now in the hands of British and American and oil companies. Thanks, of course, to George Bush, Jr, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Tony Blair — the four war criminals. Today, the western media is at it again — telling lies! This time, the man whom it has chosen to demonize is Maummar al-Qaddafi — the man whom it reported dead with fake pictures to match. And, why did it do this? The answer to this question is simple; to demoralize the Libyan resistance — which has held out for over 7 months against the strongest terrorists and invading armies in the world. NATO went to Libya on the basis of a lie! Maummar al-Qaddafi wasn't about to kill anybody. He never said that he was going to kill anybody. It's the western media — which said that he said that! The truth should've been told. It wasn't!



As of present in Libya, civilians are dying on the basis of a lie. Women and children are dying because of a lie! NATO is bombing everything and everyone in sight. And, what are African leaders doing to stop this massacre? Nothing whatsoever! Hilary Clinton cautioned them not to act, and they slavishly obeyed her in exchange for petty dimes and nickels from America, Britain and France. Indeed, how humiliating, pathetic and sad. In Tawergha — a predominantly Black city in Libya — the racist NTC is killing the city's Black citizens in their numbers. And, what does Ghana's government do? It recognizes the NTC instead of condemning it! In other words, it gives NATO and the racist rebels the green light to murder, rape and steal. Now, is this stupidity, or, is it just fear of the West? This I wonder! I will conclude this column with these words from Brother Malcolm X. “There will come a time, when Black people will wake up and become intellectually independent enough to think for themselves, just like how other humans are intellectually independent enough to think for themselves.



The Black man will then think, like a Black man — and he will feel for other Black People! This new thinking and feeling will cause Black people to stick together. At that point, you’ll have a situation that when you attack one Black man — you are attacking all Black men. This type of Black thinking will cause all Black people to stick together! This type of thinking will also bring to an end the brutality inflicted upon Black people by White people.” Dear reader, may you live to see that day come.
