Naa Ashorkor, others for iROKOtv Web Series

Actress and TV show hosts, Naa Ashorkor and Ama K. Abebrese, John Dumelo and Budding talent Marie Humbert among others has been mentioned as the cast for iROKOtv’s upcoming web series.

Director Leila Djansi had already concluded a contract with iROKOtv’s Roc studios months ago to direct the web series.

Though the full cast for the series is yet to be announced, reports say Marie Humbert and Naa Ashorkor are the newest faces to be directed by Leila on the new project.

Marie, who is described as a face to watch out for on the African continent, started flirting with Ghana’s movie industry after taking part in the rested reality TV show, ‘Spirited Actor’.

She played her first major supporting role in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s directed feature, ‘Potomanto’ which ensured her first nomination for the African Movie Academy Awards.

She is also one of the talented faces in Youtube web series ‘An African City’ while Naa Ashorkor had a stint with movie screens in ‘Perfect Picture’ and subsequent appearances in ‘Adams Apples’ series.

Both faces would be with Leila Djansi for the first time, alongside Ama K. and John Dumelo who have worked with the director of the international repute before.
