The’ Soul to Soul’ Old School Jam is back once more at Ghana’s premier jazz bar, +233 Jazz Bar and Grill, on Friday 1st March 2013.
All is set for the third dose of sheer unadulterated entertainment which features a variety of Old school music from a host of genres ranging from Soul to Funk, R&B, Hiplife, Highlife, Afrobeat , among others.
The event cemented its place as the most patronised event for the astute fun-loving society in Accra, when + 233 was filled to capacity at the last edition.
In an evening of pleasant back to back retro music from both the ‘OBY’ Band and the alternating Djs, the audience relived the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s as hit tracks from the eras were played in rotation.
On the bill for the next event will be Bessa Simons, the legendary music producer and keyboardist and of Osibisa fame with his band, varying the content of the event with a new twist. “Nothing less will be delivered on our pre independence edition”
Mariam Adams of Karl Aubyn Events retorted in response to a question about maintaining the high standards set over the past two events. “...everything including our surprise special guests are on cue for the 1st of March.”
Soul to Soul fuses live music performed by an array of talented singers together with top rated bands and Djs who blend records and stage performances with enchanting ease.
Artistes that have graced the stage in past two events have included the likes of Samini, Afriyie of Wutah fame, Ofie Kudjoe, Nana Yaa, and many others who have entertained the lively crowd with powerful vocals and amazing performances.
The great music complimented with mouth watering grills, chilled drinks and the charged atmosphere makes Soul to Soul the premium event for people who enjoy quality entertainment.
The’ Soul to Soul concept was created by event organisers, Karl Aubyn Events in collaboration with +233 Jazz Bar & Grill located at North Ridge opposite GBC off the Ring Road Central. Gates open at 8:00 pm.
