The CEO of Viasat 1 Ghana, Charlotte Gustavsson has confirmed that Ghanaian presenter and actor, Chris Attoh, will be presenting the maiden edition of Born Starz.
According to the CEO, Chris will be hosting the reality show, while David Oscar of 'Laugh a Minute' fame and music icons - Ben Brako and Paulina Oduro, will be the judges.
The confirmation was made Friday night, and also tweeted by presenter of 'A Day In The Life,' Ama K Abebrese. More details will be announced in the coming days.
BORN STARZ is a new Viasat 1 Ghana reality series that unearths talents such as magicians, jugglers, puppeteers, comedians, acrobatics, dancers, singers and other performers of all ages competing for a grand prize.
Among the significant features in BORN STARZ are the opportunity given to talented amateurs and unknown performers to build on their skill confidence.
The series is a true celebration of Ghanaian talents as an array of both young and old vie for their chance to strut and perform on stage with the aim to win the grand prize.
The auditions date is set for Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 7am at the NAFTI studios in Accra. Interested participants are kindly requested to pick forms at the Koala Shopping Mall, the front desk of Modern Africa Productions (MAP) and Viasat1, and the NAFTI studios. You can also download the application forms on www.viasat1.com.gh.
Applicants should be at the NAFTI studios on Saturday September 12, 2012 with the filled forms and all the requirements to audition.
Born Starz is the latest of Viasat1's local productions.
