Young But Lyrically Gifted

Every now and then in Ghana, a musician appears onto the music scene be it a kid or an adult to break through and enjoy some short-term novelty success before being swept away by the next big thing.

This time round, the Ghana Music.com team caught up with this new artiste called Bepo at the Hush Hush Studios. Bepo began rapping at a very young age in Twi and Ga language and has developed quite an impressive style after coming out first in a rap competition when he was in class six.

Along with his right-hand man Tredicle (manager), Tredicle quotes that "the album is strictly hiplife which is for the international market. Bepo is the youngest musician on the continent who has a remarkable feat of vocal control, lyrics control and agility.

I hope this will cement his individuality in the global market of entertainment without tremor”. Tredicle describes the album as one which is beyond imagination; it is not just songs but songs that have an impact on human life. “This is also going to open gates for his peers” he added.

Bepo’s preteen debut album is titled “Moko be”. The young dude whose real name is Daniel Nyanyo-Mensah was motivated by Reggie and other hiplife lords.
