Papaye adds three new dishes to menu

Accra, March 31, GNA - The Management of Papaye Fast Foods Limited has added three new dishes to its menu to meet the needs of customers especially tourists.

The new dishes are grilled fish and fried rice, shredded beef and fried rice and pizza.

Mr Divine Asiedu, Managing Director of Papaye Foods, made this known on Friday during a draw to honour customers, who took part in the "Papaye Additional Dishes Promotion".

He said the three dishes were added after a research was carried out to ascertain customers' choice and public perception on the food care industry.

Mr Asiedu said the research had a sample size of 5,000 with accidental sampling method used mainly in the Greater Accra Region. Eleven dishes were proposed out of which the best three were chosen. The 11 dishes included chicken khebab and chips, jollof rice and meat, fried plantain and beans (red, red), fish and chips, pizza, shredded beef and fired rice, spring rolls and grilled fish and fried rice.

He said the industry made available television sets, DVD players, fans, sound systems, T. Shirts and caps for winners of the draw. Fifty-three customers out of the 5,000 entries won prizes with the first and second prizes going to Mr John Kunto Bukari of Teshie and Ms Evelyn Ashley of Box 66, Accra North, respectively. They both had a 21-inch colour TV sets each. Kojo Antwi of Accra won the third prize of a DVD player. 31 March 06
