Multiple award-winning gospel minister, known in real life as Oware Michael Sakyi but known widely in his ministrations as OJ has stated that most of his songs are written for international purposes.

OJ seems to be one gospel musician whose songs are timeless, the likes of Obi nya wo aye, Etesen?, Kosoa na koso, Maye se mo pen which reflect on our everyday lives. Aside being a good songwriter, he is also excellent vocally.

Speaking in an interview with Kofi Asante on A1 radio,the ‘’maye se mo pen’’ hitmaker disclosed that aside being gifted in the area of songwriting, he has also devoted his time to develop his writing skills making him unique in his lyrical delivering.

Touching on the issue of the songs he produces as to whether they are based on real life issues, he reiterated that though most of the songs are written based on inspirations there are times he thinks deeply before he writes.

OJ promised to release his sixth studio album soon stating 80 percent is already finished.
