Ghanaian musician Kawoula Biov, known for featuring Patapaa on the hit song 'Daavi Neba (Skopatomana)', has confidently rated himself higher than the rapper.

Speaking in a recent interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, Kawoula Biov real name Kwame Aglamey, when asked to list his top five Ghanaian artistes from Swedru, put himself above his colleagues.

He listed popular rapper Kwaw Kese as number 1, placed himself second and Patapaa third.

When he was asked if he considers himself better than Patapaa, Kawoula Biov explained his rating, saying, “I have to promote myself and my songs. I can’t place myself last. So I will place Kawoula Biov before Patapaa," he said.

Recall that the two artists had a public disagreement over the rights to the song "Daavi Ne Ba," which gained widespread attention primarily for Patapaa's featured verse.

In a 2019 interview, Patapaa decided to stop promoting the song "Daavi Ne Ba" after a disagreement with Kawoula Biov, who accused Patapaa of not giving him enough credit for the song.

Patapaa responded by saying he only helped make the song popular and never claimed it as his own.

He expressed hurt over the accusations and advised other artistes to be grateful when someone helps them succeed.

Meanwhile, Kawoula Biov revealed in a 2020 interview that he had attempted to reach out and reconcile with Patapaa after their dispute, only to be rebuffed.

He shared that Patapaa has sternly asked him not to contact him anymore.

Despite this, Kawoula maintains that he harbours no ill will towards Patapaa and remains hopeful for reconciliation.

The song, however, continues to enjoy popularity in Ghana, with fans still participating in the 'Scopatumana' challenge, reignited by TikTok users.
