I'm not a Kumawood actor but rep Ghallywood - Ellen White

Beautiful Ghanaian movie star and CEO of White Production, Ellen White has categorically stated that he does not belong to Kumawood but rather represents Ghallywood.

According to Ellen in an exclusive interview with seancitygh.com, the name Kumawood does not represent the Kumasi movies but rather a brand name for an awarding company.

"We are not Kumawood stars. I want to correct something here. It's an individual who has come out to be organizing awards for the Twi movies. Even with that, he adds some other languages. So I am not a Kumawood star but rather a Ghallywood actor."

The name Kumawood has of late come to the news to mean movies produced in Kumasi especially the ones with the Twi language.

However it was later revealed that one Mr. Samuel Darko, known in the industry as Samdakus is the CEO of Kumawood, the award organizing company.

The recent Kumawood awards was held in January this year at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.
