Diamond Cement participates in Construction Seminar

Diamond Cement Limited, one of Ghana’s leading producers of high quality grade of cement has participated in this year’s industry seminar dubbed Water Africa and West Africa Construction and Building Exhibition held in Accra.

The event which was held June 24 – 26, 2015 brought together various stakeholders in the construction industry to showcase their products and services at the Accra International Conference Center.

The Diamond Cement Group joined over 90 other local and international companies which were present to show evidence of their latest equipment and services in the fields of water and construction businesses in Ghana.

Mr. Prakash Bhatt, Senior Marketing Manager for Diamond Cement Ghana in an address expressed his delight at this year’s event adding that “the topic on the infrastructural challenges that face Ghana was informative and timely; highlighting ways to curb, for instance floods that recently hit parts of the country’s capital-Accra.”

The seminar also focused on topics such as ‘using advanced technology in modern buildings and ‘new paradigm for addressing Africa’s urban water challenges’ as well as ‘monitoring rural water services in Ghana’ and development control in urban areas amongst others.

Mr. Bhatt in all applauded Ace Event Management, UK for organizing the seminar adding that the water, building and construction event as an important trade event in the country and other sub regions.
