Prudential Bank opens new branch at Atonsu

Kumasi, May 11, GNA - The Prudential Bank on Tuesday opened a new branch at Atonsu in Kumasi, bringing its total branches nationwide to 27. It would among other things offer short, medium and long term credit facilities, letters of credit and foreign currency accounts. Mr Stephen Sekyere-Abankwa, Managing Director, said this was proof of the Bank's determination to bring quality services to the door steps of the people to help stimulate the country's economic growth. He said they had planned to open three additional branches by the end of the year. Mr Sekyere-Abankwa urged the people in the area to take advantage of the bank and save with it. Mr Joseph Okine Afranie, Deputy Managing Director, said they were determined to become a reliable ally of the private sector in particular to expand their businesses. Individual businesses and organizations in the area would find in the bank a vital partner, he added. Miss Grace Osei-Bonsu, Head of Corporate Marketing Department, said the cost of doing business with the bank was the lowest in the country. 11 May 10
