The items are to be distributed to the environmental departments in the assemblies. Presenting the items, Mr Ernest Kusi, Eastern Regional Manager of the company, said the gesture was aimed at assisting the assemblies in their monitoring and supervision process.

It was also aimed at deepening the company's cordial relationship with the government and to ensure that it succeeds in its efforts to promote good environmental sanitation in the communities.

Mr Francis Korwu Quist, Regional Environmental Health Officer, said the presentation had come at the right time when officers of the department were facing transportation difficulties in their supervision roles. Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Eastern Regional Minister, who received the keys of the bikes on behalf of the assemblies, said monitoring and supervision were very important and expressed the hope that the items would greatly assist the environmental departments in their work.
