NDC USA Congratulates Amissah Arthur For His Second Nomination As Vice President

On behalf of NDC USA, I congratulate National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the President, John Dramani Mahama for making the right decision in the nomination of the vice president, Mr.Kwesi Amissah-Arthur of the party for the next election. This brave and wise choice by the president is an indication of his leadership style and the confidence in him. As the leader of the party, the president once again has given the party and the country as a whole, hope by choosing the best man to assist in his transformative agenda for the country. This bold move is inspiring reminder that lasting peace and prosperity can only be achieved when citizens are empowered to forge their own future by good and transformative leadership.
In this few years, the president and his vice has managed to steer the affairs of the country amidst many distractions and unpatriotic machinations by the opposition, the President and his administration has never “led up”. They are determined to move the country forward by making remarkable strides in building an inclusive democracy, and transforming lives. With our support and yours, Ghanaians will no doubt vote in free elections in 2016 for NDC, to forge a new agenda that upholds human rights and equality for all people, including women and minorities tribes, and promote good governance in national unity. Thus, showing that democracy and peace can indeed thrive and yield economic and social development.
