KNUST Alumni of DC Metro Area (DMV) End of Year Diner Dance and Fundraising

In appreciation of another successful year, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Alumni of Washington DC Metro Area request the honor of your presence at 2014 End of Year Dinner dance slated for January 10, 2015 at Comfort Inn in Springfield Virginia. The night will be spent in the company of the new Ambassador from Ghana to United States, Lt. Gen J.H Smith, Diplomats and other invited special guests. His Excellency, J.H Smith will be the key note speaker spearheading discussions on how the Alumni in Diaspora can contribute to nation building and to the KNUST Endowment fund.
The event has a hallmark of uniting lots of Alumni in a different year groups, old friends and families with the sole purpose of socializing, networking and raising fund to support the University. It establishes our sense of pride, oneness and connecting through personal and professional levels in an effort to build a solid KNUST Alumni community in United States.
New officers will be elected during the event to steer the affairs of the Association. Among the positions available to contest are President and Vice, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity Officer and Assistant Publicity Officer. Nominations are open now. The KNUST North American Alumni Association - DC Chapter is made up of members in the Washington District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia regions. Our members are former students, faculty and associates of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology who reside in the area. Our main mission is to remain connected to our alma mater and improve on the networking of our members. The strength of our organization is only at par with the commitment of individual members and we implore members and prospective members to sign up and stay engaged with our activities. By our unique positions we can offer expertise, monetary commitments and other talents to improve the outlook for all graduates who leave the campus of our university.
In order to spread the spirit of goodwill and happiness we look forward to your participation. We hope you will take part in the event to make it a great success.
