THE HOUSTONTEXAS NDC CONGRATULATE PRESIDENT MAHAMA

The executives and the entire membership of the HoustonTexas
branch of NDC wish to congratulate His Excellency John Dramani Mahama on his
second victory for the Ghanaian democracy. Indeed, Ghana
has once again proven to the whole continent of Africa
and the world, that the Rule of Law, due process, the independence and
Integrity of the judiciary as tenants of viable democracy prevails
in Ghana
and underpins her steady and consistent march to development and growth through
stability in governance. Ghana’s
emergence as a middle income economy in recent years is evidently an outcome of
the people and leadership of Ghana’s
real commitment to the democratic path and our history of being a peace loving-
nation.
We of the NDC
Houston Texas branch additionally congratulate the people of Ghana for comporting
themselves
during the tense periods before the verdict was finally rendered. We are proud
of you all. It is now obvious why people say Ghana
is the gate way to Africa.
The Houston Texas branch would also like to call on all
Ghanaians both home and abroad to ion out any difference that may arisen during
the election period and work together to help sustain the peace and build a
better Ghana.
We are also calling on all compatriots in the Diaspora to
double their efforts to bring businesses, new technologies ideas and investment
home to Ghana.
We remain grateful
to our Supreme Court Judges for giving peace and Justice the chance to reign.
We also salute our great men and women in uniform for their vigilance and
commitment during and after the 2012 election and the Supreme Court hearings.
For the Peace Council and the Mass media, words will not be enough, to say ayekoo…..
