X’mas & New Year Message From NDC Virginia

As the year 2009 is gradually rolling to a close, the NDC Virginia - USA wishes the Government, led by His Excellency Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, and the good people of Our Dear country, Ghana, a MERRY CHRISTMAS, PEACEFUL, PRODUCTIVE and PROSPEROUS HAPPY NEW YEAR.

We join our brothers and sisters back in Ghana to give Thanks and Praise to our Lord Jesus Christ for the year 2009 and pray that He will continue to bless the Government and the people of our dear Ghana. We also pray that He will continue to grant the President, His Vice, Members of the Council of State, Ministers of State, Parliamentarians and those in position of TRUST, the Wisdom and Knowledge to direct the affairs of our dear Country, Ghana.

As the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes LOVE, PEACE and UNITY, we urge every Ghanaian to be PEACE LOVING and unite behind the President and the Government to deliver the "BETTER GHANA AGENDA" to the benefit of all Ghanaians, irrespective of Party, Region, Religion and Tribe. In all our dealings, we must put our dear Country, Ghana, first.

We the Executives and Members of NDC Virginia also wish to use this opportunity to ask our leaders to be transparent, humble and ready at all times to give accurate account of their STEAWARSHIP. Probity, Integrity and Accountability must be the guiding principle for the coming year and beyond.

It is our fervent prayer that the Good Lord will continue to direct the path of His Excellency the President and the Government to deliver on its Manifesto and campaign promises to the delight of all Ghanaians.

We also wish to appeal to the Opposition to be objective in their criticisms and be able to offer credible alternatives to the benefit of our dear Country rather than just criticizing for the sake of political expediency.

We wish all Ghanaians, all over the globe, a Wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.

Long Live Ghana,

Long Live NDC,

Long Live NDCVA.

Desire L. Ankah, Secretary, NDC Virginia
