Visiting Student From Ghana Missing

(Brighton, NY) 08/24/04 -- Brighton police are asking for help in finding a missing foreign exchange student Police said Thomas Fokuo, 20, of Ghana arrived in the Rochester area Friday night. A prospect for the MCC soccer team, Fokuo headed to MCC Saturday morning to watch a soccer practice. He was last seen walking toward the rear of the campus alone. Since that time, neither his host family nor his family in Africa has had any contact with him.

Police say Fokuo doesn't have much money and likely doesn't have any other reason to be in the United States.
