The Ga Dangme International Inc. (GDI) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental entity, registered as a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States. Our core mission is contributing to the development of children's education, outreach services for maternal care and the general good health of children. Since its founding, GDI, Inc. has aimed at providing comprehensive child education projects and programs; In acquiring the Tamatoku Community Center, it aims at establishing a multipurpose facility which will provide extensive opportunities for child development in a physical location..The concept of the Tamatoku Community Center was born out of the mission goal of the Ghana Penn Alliance, of the University of Pennsylvania which states "If you provide the children of a developing country with infrastructure and resources, comparable to those of children in a developed country, what could they achieve?

Please help us in this undertaking. The GDI is having its annual Fundraising banquet on Saturday May 28th 2016 at the Sonesta Hotel in Downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are reaching out for support for this event. Proceeds from this year's Fundraiser will enable us to extend financial assistance to numerous children, in targeted underprivileged areas of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
