Serwaah Fordjour

Growing up in Shoreline, Serwaah Fordjour attended Shorewood High School where she was a 4 year varsity letter in both Soccer and Track and Field earning All-Wesco honors in soccer. Serwaah’s youth soccer career included playing for Emerald City FC, FC Alliance, and Eastside FC. She attended University of Puget Sound (UPS) receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and minoring in Business. While at UPS, Serwaah was a member of the Women’s Varsity Soccer team. Starting every game of her college career in the defensive line, Serwaah earned Defensive Player of the Year for the Northwest Conference and 2nd Team All Western Region. In the summers of 2010 and 2011 Serwaah traveled to Ghana, West Africa, to attend the Ghana Women’s National Team training camp.

Serwaah is entering her 4th year of coaching after 2 years with FC Alliance, and will receive her USSF National “D” License in April 2016. She is currently working towards her certification in Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning.

Serwaah enjoys cooking, staying active, and traveling. You can also catch Serwaah and other Greater Seattle Surf coaches this summer playing on the semi pro team OSC FC.
