NPP-USA fund raising in Connecticut

The Connecticut Chapter of NPP-USA branch under the chairmanship of Eugene Kyerematen, is taking an end of year get-together to a new height. The Chapter has broken away from the traditional meet, eat, drink and have fun to the level of creative fundraising that mixes fun with discussion of serious topical issues affecting Ghanaians Living Abroad in a town hall style.

On Saturday, November 19, 2011, Ghanaians in the Tri-State, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, as well as New Englanders from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and beyond are converging at 748 Silver Lane, in East Hartford, Connecticut from 7 pm to 2am to have fun and discuss topics such as DUAL CITIZENSHIP, VOTING RIGHTS FOR GHANAIANS LIVING ABROAD AND OTHER IMMIGRATION ISSUES.

The guest speakers are Professor Kwaku Asare and Dr. Agyenim Boateng. The subjects for discussion are non-partisan; they affect every Ghanaian irrespective of one’s political persuasion. The million dollar question that begs for answer is the following; the Electoral Commission is making it possible for prisoners in Ghana to vote in 2012, what is the EC and the Government of Ghana doing for Ghanaians Living Abroad to vote in 2012? This is not NPP, CPP or NDC issue, this is GLA issue. Come listen to Prof. Kwaku Asare and Dr. Agyenim Boateng on these issues.

The October Storm tried to silence us, but we live too close to a State with the motto “Live Free or Die”, to be intimidated in our quest for freedom.
