NPP North America Push To Secure Voting Rights.....

...For All Ghanaians In The Diasporas Is Paying Of.

When NPP North America Chairman Mohammed Idris was elected in September 2003, he vowed to fight for voting right for all Ghanaians in the Diasporas. Since taken office, he has relentlessly fought behind the scene to make his promise to Ghanaians in the North America and around the world come through.

If the parliament passes the People?s Bill as it is currently being debated, it will be a remarkable achievement for Mr. Idris. Here is a man that fought against the repressive rule of Jerry Rawlings but never relax when his party came to power. He believes as all Ghanaians do, that we deserve respect and recognition and that NPP government is the one that must confer such gratitude to us.

He is very optimistic that the parliament will approve the bill for us to get a chance to exercise our voting rights that have been denied for many years. He was happy, as I believe thousands of Ghanaians were to read the news from home. He hope to celebrate another milestone in the history of our country when he visit home this month.

He ask Ghanaians to call their constituents Member of Parliament and urge them to vote for this bill. He also ask Ghanaians not to stop the goodwill to our country and the love for our families.
