NDC Norway Calls for a Level Playing Field

The NDC as a party is undergoing tremendous internal re-positioning with regards to the election of a presidential candidate for the 2012 election as provided by the party's constitution. Camps that hold different positions and views have emerged. This is a healthy development if conducted in a manner that strengthens the internal democratic structures and allow all to voice their views in a decorous manner. NDC Norway, being a Diaspora Branch will want to encourage the mother party to provide a level playing field for all to participate genuinely in the process. All qualified delegates that will be required to cast a vote must truly make an effort to understand the messages from the different factions and more importantly on the issues that confront us as a party and government to enable us move our country forward.

The Executive Board of NDC Norway intends to remain neutral observers but will make efforts to ensure that our delegates' votes truly reflect the wishes of our members.
