Katyushas can't reach Ashdod - Sammy Adjei

Ghana's international goalkeeper, Sammy Adjei, who plys his trade in Israel, took time out to speak to the Haaretz newspaper about his fears and how he is coping with the situation in Israel

"I have been in Israel for a year, and I don't think there's anything to be afraid of. I can walk around Ashdod freely any time I want, and I feel quite safe. But that's not the story. My family - my wife and three children - are very worried, because on television abroad they see very frightening things. What can I do? I make sure to call them all the time to calm them down. My wife will eventually join me in Israel, with the children, and none of the plans we made have changed. I'm sure everything will work out fine, and there are still plenty of more dangerous places in the world. Apart from that, I've been told that the Katyushas can't reach Ashdod.
