Ghanaian Drowns In Finland

The Amoako’s family and entire Ghanaian community in Finland announce with deepest grief the death of their beloved one Richard Amoako( Alias Kofi Siaw). He drowned in Makelenkatu International Swimming pool at Helsinki on Saturday 22nd of March 2003. 6:30pm, while swimming with his newly found Finnish girl friend.

He was pronounce dead after the paramedical tried to revive him for some minutes.

There were many people swimming at that moment including 10 professional live saving personnel , but nobody saw what really happened to Kofi.

According to the girl friend she left Kofi to the sauna for less than 5 min. and when she returned, found Kofi’s body being revived by the paramedical. Mr Richard Amoako was born 1970 in Ghana West of Africa. Close family relatives: Sly, Akos, Payo and JB. Kofi rest in peace.

Funeral arrangement will be announce later.
