Evangelist donates used clothing to nursing mothers in B/A

Sunyani, Dec. 17, GNA - A US-based Ghanaian International Evangelist and Philanthropist, the Reverend Isaac Clayton Trawick of the Christ Pentecostal International Church (CPIC) in Chicago at the weekend presented a quantity of second-hand clothing valued at GH=A2600 to 100 nursing mothers in three branches of Word Miracle Church International in Brong-Ahafo.

The branches were Sunyani, Bechem and Berekum assemblies. Presenting the items at the end of a four-day special impartation service in Sunyani, Rev Trawick said he was moved by God to make the donation to help ameliorate the difficult conditions of the nursing mothers.

He added that the donation was also to curtail the phenomenon where Christians made ends meet through unjust means in the Church. The evangelist promised to offer GH2,000 as start up capital to be shared among single mothers in the three assemblies to begin small businesses.

Receiving the items, Mrs Becky Essuman, President of the Women's Ministry of the Church, thanked the evangelist for the donation and asked for God's blessings on him.
