CPP Coalition, USA

Baltimore-Washington Metropolis

PRESS STATEMENT

Return of the Red Cockerel

Congratulations to the Mother Party for Successful Congress

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (December 16, 2007) In the spirit of the March 6, 1957 successful revolution in Ghana, CPP Coalition, USA of Baltimore-Washington Metropolis congratulates the entire family of the Convention People’s Party, CPP, fraternity for the conflict-free, successful 2007 Delegates’ Congress.

To all the elected national executives of the CPP, the Coalition congratulates you for ascending to your new voluntary positions and wishes you good luck for the task ahead of you towards revitalizing and placing the Mother Party on the path to re-capturing the political power of the state of Ghana.

The Coalition salutes all the party leaders who made themselves available to be considered for official positions of the CPP organization, especially those who had to part with their money for the benefit of the Party.

CPP Coalition reserves its greatest appreciation to Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, the CPP candidate for 2008 presidential election of Ghana. The Coalition assures the Party’s presidential and parliamentary candidates of its material and intellectual support in the struggle to win the presidency of Ghana and majority seats in parliament.

The Coalition extends fraternal greetings and appreciation to all the Party Delegates that assembled at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, to perform their political duties. Members of the Nkrumahist family draw inspiration from the spirit of 1949 that saw the birth of the Mother Party; the work of the delegates today is a reflection of that spirit.

In the tradition of Nkrumahism, we, the members of CPP Coalition, USA of Baltimore-Washington harbor the confidence that the new national executives of the CPP, the presidential and parliamentary candidates and constituency officials will work in tandem towards re-capturing the political power of the country the Mother Party gave birth to. It is only by capturing political power that the CPP, as a vanguard organization for the liberation of Ghana and emancipation of Africa from colonialism, can complete the work of delivering economic independence to the African continent.

Forward Ever!…………..Backward Never!
