GSE All-Share Index inches up

Accra, Jan. 19, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark index of the Accra bourse, on Friday went up 1.54 points on the strength of gains by two equities. The Index went up to 5,009.58 points from 5,008.04 points on Thursday.

Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) gained 53 cedis to close trading at 6,200 cedis while ECOBANK Ghana went up by three cedis to close at 13,544 cedis.

Total shares traded were 1,226,600 shares with Ghana Commercial Bank selling 1,119,200 of them.

Change year to date stands at 0.07 per cent. Market capitalization closed higher at 112,517.43 billion cedis from 112,508.20 billion cedis at the previous session.
