NDC will sustain peace and stability - Adam

Asin, (Brong Ahafo), 14th June 99 -

The Brong Ahafo Deputy Regional Minister, Alhaji Kwadwo Mama Adam, has said that, it is only the National Democratic Congress (NDC), that can lead Ghana to sustain peace, stability, development and respect that it enjoys outsider.

Speaking at a rally organised by the Jaman constituency of the party at Asin in the Brong Ahafo region on Friday, he asked members of the party to remain steadfast and to continue their efforts at attracting more people to the party.

Alhaji Adam who is also MP for Techiman South, explained that the June 4th uprising would continue to be celebrated because it reminds Ghanaians about the ills of the past and the virtues of probity and accountability that it stands for.

The MP for Jaman, Mr Nicholas Appiah-Kubi, advised the people to take next year's population census seriously.

On behalf of the regional chairman of the party, Nana Bora Brentuo, regional executive member, advised 16 people who have defected from NPP to be disciplined, honest and to help in the development of the area.
