Accra bourse dips again

Accra, Aug. 3, GNA - The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index dropped again but marginally by 8.89 points during Tuesday's trading from 6,290.73 points to 6,281.84 points.

The Change Year to Date was 12.73.

On the broader market, there were six price changes, five positives and a negative.

Enterprise Insurance Company Limited (EIC) led the gainers with GH¢0.06 to close trading at GH¢1.25, while Cal Bank Limited (CAL); Fan Milk Limited (FML); Ghana Commercial Bank Limited (GCB) and Produce Buying Company Limited (PBC) appreciated by GH¢0.01 each to close trading at GH¢0.27; GH¢7.61; GH¢1.57 and GH¢0.15 in that order.

Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) lost GH¢0.08 to close trading at GH¢2.87.

Traded volume was 580,495 shares valued at GH¢255,337.90. State Insurance Company Limited (SIC) led the pack with 504,300 sahres valued at GH¢200,367.00. Shares of 13 other equities were sold.

Market Capitalisation was GH¢18,171.91 million from GH¢18,178.75 million issued shares.
