West meets Bawumia

David Moorer West, an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors on Monday, August 14, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Mr West and a few of his friends, including TJ Warren who plays for Phoenix Suns, are in the country for a basketball clinic to be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the University of Ghana basketball courts to pass on some of their skills to Ghanaian basketball enthusiasts.

The clinic is expected to bring together players from all the 10 regions for a day of instruction and personal interaction with the NBA players.

The clinic is targeting fanatics of the game between the ages of 10 and 18.
